Self Harm Awareness is a is a full day, face to face training course, with the following learning outcomes designed to increase participants knowledge and confidence to support those affected by self harm.
Who is this event for?
School staff, community learning staff, third sector staff, NHS front line workers, foster carers and others working with the public, especially young people.
Why should I attend this event?
– Increased knowledge of what self harm is.
– Increased understanding and empathy for people who self harm.
– Increased skills and confidence in recognising the signs of self harm.
– Increased confidence in approaching and talking to someone who self harms.
