Anthea is the Chief Officer & Business Manager of Clackmannanshire Third Sector Interface (CTSI). Through her role, Anthea is the voice of the third sector on a number of public bodies and committees such as the Alliance Executive, Vice Chair, Community Justice Partnership and a strategic partner on the Community Wellbeing and Safety Partnership. Anthea also supports the third sector involvement on the Clackmannanshire & Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership Integration Joint Board.
Anthea has been working in the third sector for over 10 years, following a career in international marketing and copywriting. Most recently she has been Manager of CheckIn Works & Giraffe, based in Perth and Kinross and was Project Leader for Helm Training in Dundee. Her career has particularly focused on developing successful social enterprises and other projects that help empower people through greater inclusion, skills and value, to bring transformational change to their lives. She has worked with young people with severe barriers to work, offenders, young parents, and most recently with people with learning and physical disabilities, and mental ill health.
Anthea is an active member in her community and previously held trustee roles with a community pre-school, parent council, community hall and development trust. She has worked with a wide number of organisations to build resilience through strong business management and enable effective governance, for a sustainable future.
