Lesley graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a BA (Hons) in Management Science and worked in the private sector for a number of years before moving to the NHS in 2004. Lesley gained her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) through the Open University in December 2019.
After going on secondment to Scottish Government for 2 years, Lesley returned to the Forth Valley area in October 2014 to take up the role of Programme Manager for the Clackmannanshire & Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership. Being the first appointed person for the HSCP she set up and monitored multiple workstreams in partnership with colleagues to ensure the HSCP had everything it needed to run effectively and efficiently. The Chief Officer and Chief Finance Officer were appointed to support the running of the HSCP. Lesley is now the Senior Planning Manager in the HSCP and works alongside colleagues to ensure the HSCP has the planning and policy it requires to ensure improved performance.
Lesley is the former Chair of the Scotland wide Strategic Planning and Performance Officers Group (SPPOG), a member of SPPOG executive and sits on the National Care Service Key Stakeholder Reference Group. A Trustee on Forth Valley Sensory Centre Board and a Director at Dunblane Kids Club.
In June 2024 she was appointed as Standards Officer for the Integration Joint Board.
