Paul Morris, lives with his family in Alloa. He has been a carer, with his wife, for his son who has choreo-athetoid quadriplegic cerebral palsy.
Through this ongoing lived experience, Paul has acquired considerable knowledge of both the health and social care structures in place to support people who require treatment and support to live their lives to the full. This has also provided insights into the support carers require in their daily lives.
Paul works in economic development within local government.
Over a career spanning more than two decades, Paul has amassed considerable experience of local government and the wider public sector, politics, economics and the labour market, including support for those most distant from the world of work.
Paul is also a Trustee of the national charity Cerebral Palsy Scotland. In his spare time, Paul enjoys spending time with his family, reading and working on his allotment plot.
